The Perfect Family Holiday in Dubai
Most people don’t think of Dubai as the ideal destination for a family-friendly holiday, but this luxurious city is the perfect location for families to visit during their yearly vacation as it is home to a number of golden beaches, an extensive array of attractions, family-friendly dining options, and kids’ clubs that entertain the little ones for hours on end.
We have put together a short guide that includes only a few of the vast selection of things you can enjoy with your family while on holiday to this amazing city.
Where to Stay
One of the most family-friendly hotels in Dubai is Atlantis, The Palm, offering guests a resort with a number of in house attractions and entertainment options the whole family can take advantage of and enjoy.
Guests can have fun in the sun at Aquaventure Water Park that is home to record breaking rides and slides, explore The Lost Chambers Aquarium where the little ones can see everyone’s favourite blue tang, Dory, from Finding Dory, and get a good night’s sleep every night in one of the resort’s amazing rooms and suites made for families.
What to do
The fun never ends in Dubai, and neither does the list of activities and events available for families to enjoy together. The weather is so nice in Dubai for a large portion of the year, meaning there is no shortage of sunny days that are perfect for outdoor adventures the whole family can take part in.
Beach bums can choose from a number of private and public beaches (I recommend Kite Beach every time) and can lay their towel down to catch some sun while their kids play in the water, or for those who prefer to relax poolside, almost every resort and hotel in the city has a pool. Thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies can head to Dubai’s amazing theme parks, where they can take on fast and furious roller coasters and enjoy the child-friendly rides too.
Where to Eat
We all have to eat, and when you have children the more fun the experience the better! Dubai has a vast food scene that caters for every taste and every nationality, ensuring that you will never be bored or struggle to find somewhere new to eat every night of your holiday.
If you want to give your children a dining experience they will never forget, however, it’s worth visiting the Rainforest Café. Located in Dubai Mall, diners are surrounded by elephants, jaguars, crocodiles, gorillas, mechanical butterflies, and an array of other rainforest animals while they dive into their dinner. Serving up American and International cuisine during periodic thunderstorms and tropical showers, the restaurant’s stunning special effects and lifelike animatronics will keep both the kids and adults entertained the whole evening!
Don’t cross Dubai off the list of places to visit with your family, instead plan a fun holiday to this luxurious city and make memories you will remember for ever.
