Owned by Hindi singer and actress Asha Bhosle, this modern-day Indian restaurant serves northwest Indian cuisine that ranges from traditional classics to modern fusion dishes and firm family choices. Asha’s atWafi has been nominated for the category ‘Best Restaurants (Fine Dining)’ for Masala! Awards 2015 and if you’re lucky you may sit next to Bollywood stars such as Amitabh Bachnan or Shahruck Khan who love dining here when in Dubai. The food is reasonably priced and the menu has plenty to choose from. Look out for the Tangadi Kebab – succulent chicken drumsticks marinated in Lucknowi spices or the Emperor’s Platter - a combination of the emperor’s favourite kebabs -MurghMalai, Barrah, SarsonwaliMachli- and Kerala Chilli Garlic Prawns with Cheese Garlic Naan.
